Tuesday Club is a creative studio specializing in design and illustration. We put the small in small business, which means that you get a whole lot of heart, soul, and human connection. We don’t let our small stature hold us back, though. Whether it’s working as a singular extension of your team or pooling together resources and freelancers on our end, we’ve noticed that good things come when we work as a team – or club, if you will.
In fact, we like to imagine that we’re all members of the same club. The client, the creator, and the user each have their own roles, but their goals are often very similar. With this camaraderie as our guide, we can create work that is friendly, intentional, and easy on the eyes.
We are inspired by the “good old days” when people sat at literal drawing boards and storefronts were lettered and painted by hand. We’re not lacking for shortcuts these days – but we’ve found that sometimes taking the long route is worth it. Though we don’t often get the joy of putting paintbrush to paper for client projects, we keep up this practice as our own creative exercise. This helps us to remember the values of those who walked this way before us, namely the importance of craft and quality.
Nowadays, our methods may not be quite so old-fashioned, but we still seek to instill this sense of thoughtful, handcrafted creativity into each project we touch. Creating handmade solutions with intention and care – that’s the key.
